The cost of digital signage in India has two parts: the recurring cost of running the software and the one-time cost of putting screens and compatible players in place. DigiSign charges per screen per month, with separate pay-as-you-go AI credits. Start your budget with the number of screens, the content apps you need and the hardware you already own.

What does DigiSign software cost per screen?

The table below shows the published per-screen software prices. Introductory rates help you start; standard rates are the better basis for an ongoing budget. Infinite is quoted to fit the deployment rather than assigned a public per-screen figure.

How to calculate a multi-screen software budget

For screens on one plan, monthly software cost is the number of subscribed screens multiplied by the applicable per-screen monthly rate. For mixed plans, calculate each group separately and add the totals. Keep AI credits, hardware, connectivity and any applicable taxes outside that calculation until you have confirmed the order terms.

  • Count physical displays and the player arrangement you will actually deploy, not just the number of locations.
  • Choose the plan from the required apps and controls. Weather, AQI, stock-market data, flight information and live travel time are premium live-data apps on Command.
  • Calculate both the introductory period and the standard recurring cost. Confirm how long an introductory offer lasts.
  • Ask for a written quote when you need custom integrations, dedicated infrastructure or volume terms.

Which hardware costs belong in the quote?

List the display, compatible media player, mounts, cables, power and installation separately. A display you already own may reduce the one-time cost, but check resolution, orientation, brightness, opening hours and the supported player before treating it as suitable. A domestic television and a commercial display can have different operating limits.

For a restaurant, test readability from the ordering position and the transition between breakfast and lunch menus. For a shop window, evaluate visibility in daylight. The software subscription does not remove the need to choose a display that fits the location.

When should AI credits and live content change the budget?

AI Studio access and AI generation usage are different line items. Budget credits for the designs and other generations you expect to create, then check the credit schedule on the AI page. Saving and reusing a suitable template can reduce the number of new designs you need.

Select live content because it helps the audience. A restaurant may need menus and scheduled offers; a transport lobby may need premium flight or travel-time information. Paying for a higher plan only makes sense when its included apps, controls or support address your operating requirements.

What should a digital signage trial prove?

  • Your actual menu, video or announcement remains readable and plays correctly on the intended hardware.
  • Content assignments and schedules target the right screen group.
  • Cached content behaves as expected during a network interruption; live web content may still require connectivity.
  • The team can identify a player that stops reporting and knows who will investigate it.
  • The recurring subscription, AI usage, support and hardware costs are documented before a rollout.

Compare a complete rollout, not just an entry price

Compare vendors using the same screen count, plan features, support requirements and billing period. A quote with a low introductory price can still have a different long-term cost once hardware, premium apps and usage are included. DigiSign offers a 7-day trial so you can evaluate the workflow before committing to a wider deployment.
